I. You are going to study the definitions of two terms “Business communication” and “Global/International business communication”. Before reading them, answer the following questions: What associations do you have with these terms? What is the difference between these terms? Now read the definitions.

Business communication is exchanging information in order to promote an organization's goals, objectives, aims, and activities, as well as increase profits within the company.

Global / International business communication is the communication practice that occurs across international borders. The need for international communication was due to the increasing effects and influences of globalization. International communication is concerned with the scope of "government-to-government", "business-to-business", and "people-to-people" interactions at a global level.
